I would say my wow moment was really just discovering how many tools are out there and how helpful they can really be. I had no idea how many apps you could actually use to your advantage as a teacher and how much more creative and fun that could make material that I will be teaching in the classroom someday. I also had no idea how prevalent technology was becoming in the classroom and how much more important it is to know how to use it. My teachers in elementary school never had websites so I really didn’t even realize how common it was to have them but am really glad that I learned not only how to create one, but really use it to the fullest. I have just discovered, learned, and know so much more on how to navigate my website and find new resources that I will really be able to use in the future. It really changed my perspective on teaching when I saw how important technology is in the classroom and how much it is used. What I think I find really exciting about technology in the classroom is just how much more creative it really makes things that you could be teaching. It can make things so much more interactive for students and it really gets me excited thinking about how excited my students could be to learn.
